Mr. Shahab Siddiqi serves as a Consultant General Surgeon at Broomfield Hospital, where he leads the Pelvic Floor Surgery and Surgical Site Infections department of the General Surgery unit. He has introduced and developed advanced robotic surgery using the da Vinci robot for pelvic floor conditions and has extended his robotic surgical expertise to include surgery for colorectal cancer. Mr. Siddiqi is also known for his innovative therapies for faecal incontinence and constipation.

Mr. Siddiqi has established academic links with Anglia Ruskin University, where he holds an Honorary Senior Lecturer position and is involved in surgical research projects focusing on colorectal cancer and surgical infections. He serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Robotic Surgery and regularly peer-reviews scientific articles for the British Medical Journal Case Reports.
