Professor Adrian Bloor is a renowned Consultant Haematologist and Lead Clinician for Lymphoproliferative Disorders and the Haematology Research Team. He holds an Honorary Clinical Chair at the University of Manchester. Professor Bloor has extensive experience managing haematological malignancies, including lymphoma, leukaemia, and myeloma, with a special interest in lymphoid malignancies, stem cell transplantation, and clinical trials.He qualified in Medicine from Cambridge University and completed specialist training in Haematology at University College London. He holds Fellowships with the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists and earned a PhD for his research into molecular haemopoiesis. He is Principal or Chief Investigator for numerous trials in Haemato-Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation. Professor Bloor is a member of several clinical trials committees and advisory panels, including the NCRI CLL Clinical Trials Committee and the UK CLL Forum Executive Committee. He has published extensively, with more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals, covering various aspects of haemato-oncology and stem cell transplantation.
