Mr. Zubair Tahir is an experienced Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeon dedicated to providing the highest quality care to children. He is also an honorary Associate Professor at the UCL Institute of Child Health, London. Mr. Tahir has a special interest and expertise in complex congenital and acquired spinal pathologies in children and surgical treatment for drug-resistant epilepsy. He has received numerous national and international prizes and honours, including the best surgical trainee award and excellence in research award by Aga Khan University, the outstanding performance award in European Neurosurgery examination, and the young Asian neurosurgeon award presented by the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons (ACNS). Outside of work, Mr. Tahir enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and training for marathons. His areas of expertise include general paediatric neurosurgical conditions, complex spinal pathologies, and surgical treatment for epilepsy.
