About

Dr. Neeta Patel is an accomplished Consultant in Paediatric Allergy and General Paediatrics with an extensive background in the treatment, diagnosis, and management of various paediatric conditions. With over 25 years of experience, she has developed a reputable Paediatric Allergy Service at the Whittington Hospital Archway since 2006, catering to over 1000 patients annually for acute and chronic allergy cases.

Her commitment to providing specialized care for children with allergies led her to establish a children's allergy clinic in collaboration with a children's allergy nurse named Dee Brown and an allergy dietician at the 999 Medical and Diagnostic Centre in Golders Green.

Dr. Neeta Patel's academic journey began at the University of Manchester, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in medicine. Following that, she pursued her postgraduate training in several distinguished London hospitals, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, St George's Hospital, and University College London Hospitals. Throughout her training, she gained valuable expertise in general paediatrics and subspecialties such as allergy, respiratory, nephrology, and neonatology.

To further enhance her knowledge in the field of allergy, Dr. Patel completed a Master's degree in Allergy at Imperial College London in 2012. She also undertook a Renal/Endocrine and Adolescent Medicine fellowship in Melbourne, Australia.

Upon her return to the UK, Dr. Neeta Patel was appointed to a consultant post at the Whittington Hospital, where she has held significant roles, including Clinical Lead for hospital paediatrics and Clinical Director of Children and Young People Division.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Patel actively contributes to medical education. She regularly conducts talks and training programs for General Practitioners, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals, focusing on the management of paediatric allergy and common paediatric conditions.

Dr. Neeta Patel's passion for paediatric care, particularly in the field of allergy, has made her a respected and well-regarded figure in her field. Her dedication to her patients and her contributions to medical education have further solidified her reputation as a skilled and compassionate consultant in Paediatric Allergy and General Paediatrics.
