James Chan is a consultant plastic reconstructive surgeon who offers treatment for hand, complex wound, and general plastic surgery conditions. His ethos is to deliver the best and safest evidence-based care tailored to the individual needs of his patients, whether surgical or non-surgical. His primary aim is to help people resume their lives as well and as quickly as possible. Clear and honest communication is central to his practice, and if surgery is needed, he ensures the greatest care is taken to achieve optimal outcomes.James is fully registered on the General Medical Council (GMC) as an accredited plastic surgeon on the Specialist Register. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). In addition to his clinical practice, he holds an honorary lectureship at the University of Oxford.
