Mr. James Barnes, a Consultant Transplant, Vascular Access, and Endocrine Surgeon, currently attends to private patients at The Harborne Hospital. He obtained his medical degree from Warwick University Medical School in 2007 and completed surgical training in the West Midlands Deanery. Furthering his expertise, Mr. Barnes pursued three years of clinical training at the Oxford Transplant Centre, specializing in transplantation, culminating in a DPhil from the University of Oxford.

After his surgical training, Mr. Barnes served as a Consultant at QEH in Birmingham before assuming his current position at UHCW in 2021. His areas of focus include renal transplantation, complex vascular access, and endocrine surgery.
