Loss of muscle function

A condition that is often caused by problems with the blood vessels, resulting in damage to tissue

What is lower limb ischaemia?

Lower limb ischaemia is a restriction of the blood supply to your tissues, causing a shortage of oxygen that is needed for cellular metabolism.

This is the process that keeps tissue alive. It usually occurs in the foot or leg and can be very serious if not treated early.
