Paul Lorigan is a Professor of Medical Oncology and an internationally recognized expert in clinical research into new treatments for melanoma. He has served as principal investigator for several international clinical trials and has held positions as Chair of the UK charity Melanoma Focus and the EORTC Melanoma Group Advanced Disease Subgroup. With over 200 publications, chapters, and reviews, he is a regular speaker at international meetings. Professor Lorigan graduated from Trinity College, University of Dublin, in 1986 before completing specialist training in haematology and oncology. He was appointed Honorary Consultant and Senior Lecturer in Medical Oncology in 1996. His expertise includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, circulating tumour cells, melanoma, and skin cancer.
