Mrs. Joanne Hockey is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Clinical Lead for Gynaecology at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, London. She also performs private work at The Wellington Hospital and Golders Green Outpatients and Diagnostics Centre in London.

She specializes in urogynecology, bladder pain, fibroids, prolapse, urinary incontinence, and pelvic floor problems especially postnatal. She also has a clinical interest in menopause and post-reproductive health.

At the Royal Free Hospital, Mrs. Hockey has set up the urodynamics unit and has developed the team specializing in the care of women with bladder problems, birth trauma, pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence. She also manages a large general gynecology clinic caring for women with conditions ranging from menstrual problems and fibroids to ovarian cysts and menopause symptoms. 

Mrs. Hockey also leads the undergraduate programme in Women's Health for University College London (UCL) students at the Royal Free Hospital. She believes in a patient-centred approach to care and treatment.
