Dr Rama Vancheeswaban is a leading Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with HCA Healthcare at The Wellington and Golders Green Outpatients and Diagnostic Centre. She also holds an NHS Consultant post at West Herts NHS Teaching Trust and an Honorary position at the Royal Brompton Foundation Trust. She is the Director of Research at West Herts with a background in research into COVID, ILD, cancer, PE, asthma and COPD.

collaborates with her clients to provide a holistic approach to treatment. She welcomes clients suffering from a variety of respiratory conditions including chronic cough, asthma, COPD, bronchiolitis, bronchiectasis, Cancer, thromboembolic disease, infections, sleep disorders and interstitial lung disease.

After qualifying with a Medical Degree she completed her training in respiratory at various London teaching hospitals including the Brompton, St Mary's and Hammersmith. She completed an MSc in Immunology from Brunel University and a PhD from the Royal Free/Brompton/Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology and University College London. Her research into the Immunopathogenesis of Scleroderma and Fibrosing Alveolitis was with

Prof Carol M Black with a vast number of publications. She has held positions in the Specialist Advisory Group of the BTS in COPD, was appointed as the patient ambassador for the British Lung Foundation and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians. She lectures extensively and teaches in Respiratory Medicine across the UK and is currently the Respiratory Module Lead for Brunel Medical School.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening and travel. She has a busy home life with 3 children.
