David Mowatt is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a distinguished career in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. He is based at The Christie NHS Trust and also sees patients privately, including at The Christie Private Care and HCA UK at The Wilmslow Hospital. Mr. Mowatt holds qualifications in both medicine and dentistry from St George's Hospital in London and Edinburgh University. In 2000, he became a Fellow in General Surgery (FRCS) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.Following his training in general surgery, Mr. Mowatt undertook specialist training in reconstructive plastic and cosmetic surgery in the UK and America, with notable training in Manchester, London, Yorkshire, Michigan, and Philadelphia. From 2002 to 2004, he was the Craniofacial Surgery Fellow at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, during which time he conducted research in tissue bioengineering and regenerative medicine, culminating in being awarded a Doctorate (MD) from University College London.
