Professor Asif Raza is a Consultant Urological Surgeon. He is an Honorary Associate Professor for the Rila Institute of Health Sciences and Plymouth University, Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College Medical School, London. He is also the programme lead for Urology at the Rila institute. He is Regional advisor for the London region for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
He graduated from Glasgow University Medical School in 1991 and completed his registrar programme in urology in Scottland during which he trained in the world-renowned Scottish Lithotriptor (Stone) Centre in Edinburgh.
He specialises in minimal access (keyhole) surgery/endourology (keyhole surgery for kidney stones using laser). He treats benign prostate conditions (including prostate surgery). He offers treatment for general urological problems in both men and women including urinary infections, blood in the urine, penile (circumcision) testicular problems, as well as bladder problems.
