Professor Claire Hopkins, Consultant Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon with a clinical interest in skull base surgery, sinus disease, allergies, and nasal deformity. The talented surgeon works at London Bridge Hospital, part of the prestigious HCA Healthcare group along with an NHS post at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital Foundation. She graduated from Oxford University Medical School with a First Class Degree in Physiology and Distinction on Medicine before moving to London to complete an extensive rotational scheme in her chosen career of ENT. She undertook a Fellowship at Guys' and St Thomas' in Advanced Rhinology and was appointed Consultant and remains there today. She undertakes surgery across all aspects of nose and sinus conditions, and recieves referrals from consultant colleagues across the UK.

Professor Hopkins is heavily involved in research and was recently appointed as Professor of Rhinology at King's College London. She is committed to providing a first-class service and has written international guidelines on the management of sinusitis and nasal polyps. She is involved in the development of new medical and surgical treatment options for nose and sinus conditions. She sits on the ENT-UK patient safety panel at the Royal College of Surgeons and previously Chaired the UK Commissioning Guidance Group for Sinusitis. Her expertise has led her to lecture at an international level, along with teaching on the faculty of sinus surgery, anterior skull base surgery and other courses. She is the current President of the British Rhinological Society.
