Mr Jason Saunders is a Consultant General Surgeon with a speciality in Breast and Oncoplastic Surgery. He qualified in Medicine in 1995 from Cambridge and St Bart's Hospital Medical College in London. Following this, he completed his advanced training in London and South East England, with long-term research in reconstructive surgery at the Royal London.

Mr Saunders was first appointed Consultant General Surgeon in 2009 and works for the Barts Health NHS Trust. Within the field of breast surgery, he focusses on early detection of breast cancer and all aspects of benign breast disease.

He can perform a range of techniques including sentinel node biopsy, therapeutic mammoplasty, breast implant reconstruction, symmetrisation surgery and nipple reconstructions.
