    Dr Clark is a Consultant in Stroke and Geriatric Medicine at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KCH). He is based at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site where he additionally holds the positions of Stroke Clinical Lead and Clinical Director for Transformation.

    Dr Clark graduated from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine in 2004. Having gained experience at a number of central London hospitals, he completed his specialist training in General, Geriatric and Stroke Medicine in 2013 and was appointed as a Consultant Physician at KCH. In 2014 he was awarded an MSc in Leadership and Management in Healthcare (with distinction) and a research prize for his work investigating the quality of care of intermediate care services for older adults.

    In 2016 Dr Clark moved to the PRUH to take up the position of Stroke Consultant and Clinical Lead for the Stroke Service. He undertakes weekly Stroke outpatient work and has training and expertise in the administration of intramuscular botulinum toxin for upper limb spasticity following Stroke. He also provides care to inpatients on the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit and Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, and participates in the transient ischemic attack (TIA) and thrombolysis services.

    As a Consultant Physician at King’s College Hospital, Dr Clark helped develop an ‘Acute Geriatric Medicine’ service. This service works with the Emergency Department and local GPs to improve the care provided to older people through better access to Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment. Dr Clark was also joint clinical lead for the Acute Health and Ageing Unit at the Denmark Hill site.
