At The Harley Street Clinic, we provide a range of complex care services, specialising in complex oncology, cardiology, head and neck, breast head and neck, ENT and neuroscience. From open heart surgery to pioneering techniques to treat cancer, our clinicians work together to provide the best possible care and treatments for our patients. The team at the Harley Street Clinic is recruiting for an experienced Theatre Manager. The ideal candidate will be willing to be operational and highly visible while ensuring a high standard of nursing care at all times. You will provide managerial and clinical leadership to all staff working in the in operating theatre and day care areas.

A theatre manager you will be delivering services within budget, whilst maintaining quality and meeting the needs and expectations of patients. As you lead the clinical and operational management of all operating theatre and day care services, you will ensure that workforce planning methodologies which link volume activity and working hour’s requirements are strictly observed. Maintaining the highest possible standards of patient care across all of the hospitals operating theatre and day care areas if highly essential.

Skills and Experience

  • NMC or HCPC registered
  • Extensive Theatre Management experience in an
  • Highly Desireable- working within the Private Sector
  • Experience managing highly Complex surgeries for Adults
  • To ensure theatre staff deliver high quality specialist services for planned procedures and there is an effective on call out of hours service.
  • To allocate staff appropriately, utilising the skill mix to its full potential.
  • To support the development of new roles and new ways of working within theatres.
  • Provide a highly responsive service to Consultant
