BMS 3 – Deputy Service Lead - Biochemistry Shifts: 7.5 hour shifts Monday-Friday with weekend rota participation also required An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Section Head in Biochemistry to supervise the department and provide a high-quality and comprehensive 24-hour pathology service for laboratory users, working as a team member within Biochemistry and bringing any problems which may affect the provision of the service to the attention of Department Head. HCA Laboratories has over 35 years’ experience in providing pathology services, for acute care in our HCA Hospitals, IVF Clinics, Insurance work, healthcare screening and GP services. We cover all disciplines in pathology including allergy, biochemistry and endocrinology, haematology and blood transfusion, histopathology and cytology, immunology, and microbiology and serology, with each laboratory equipped with the best available analytical instrumentation. The weekday shift times are: 08:00 – 16:30 09:30 – 18:00 10:30 – 19:00 12:00 – 20:30 Weekends: 08:00 – 14:00 09:00 – 14:00 09:00 -20:30 Duties & responsibilities: At HCA UK we care about what you care about.
