What is revision surgery for weight loss?

Revision weight loss surgery is performed if you who have already undergone a form of bariatric surgery, and have either had complications from the procedure or have not successfully achieved significant weight loss results from the initial surgery.

Need to know 

Your consultant will be able to explain every aspect of your revisional weight loss surgery with you. This will include the type of surgery (keyhole or open), which anaesthetic (local or general), the type of stitches that will be used and how long the procedure should take.
Your consultant will discuss any special preparations you will need to make. This could include a special diet in the days leading up to your revisional weight loss procedure.
Your consultant will answer any questions you may have about your procedure. They will also be able to advise you on recovery time, when you can return to normal activity and any special diet you may have to follow after your revisional weight loss surgery.
