That means specialist musculoskeletal radiologists reporting back on your X-ray, MRI or CT scans; it means nursing and theatre teams specially trained in orthopaedics; and it means full post-surgery support from our physiotherapy team to get you back to doing the things you love, as soon as possible.
Orthopaedic treatments
Scoliosis surgery
Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine that can be present at birth, appear later in a child or adult’s life. Surgery in children is required when the curvature exceeds 45 degrees.
Lumbar decompression
Surgery to the lower spine. We have the technology and expertise to carry out surgery on your lower spine using minimally invasive surgery.
Rotator cuff repair
If your pain hasn’t improved using non-surgical treatments, or if you have a particularly large tear, then surgery could offer you the best option to regain strength in the shoulder.
Hip replacement surgery
An operation to replace a worn or damaged hip joint with an artificial one. Hip replacement surgery can bring you great relief from chronic hip pain and improve your mobility and quality of life.
ACL reconstruction
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is a major ligament in the knee. This procedure is to repair the ACL if it becomes damaged or torn, and restore stability in your knee.
Cheilectomy
A treatment performed as either open or minimally invasive surgery, this procedure is used to treat milder cases of osteoarthritis in the big toe.
