Mr. Srdjan Saso is a consultant gynaecologist and gynaecological cancer surgeon. He specializes in diagnosing and managing a wide range of gynaecological issues, particularly in young women who have not started or completed their families. His areas of expertise include both cancerous and non-cancerous conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, menstrual cycle irregularities, and pelvic pain. Mr. Saso is also proficient in complex benign and cancer surgeries and uses ultrasound extensively for diagnostic purposes. He offers a comprehensive one-stop service, providing consultation, ultrasound scan, colposcopy, and a management plan, including surgery, in a single visit. An Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Reproductive and Developmental Biology, his research interests include fertility-sparing surgery, oncofertility, and the application of artificial intelligence and technology in gynaecology. He is particularly focused on the use of machine learning for ovarian cancer diagnosis and the application of biomedical engineering in gynaecology. Additionally, Mr. Saso is involved in the UK Uterine Transplantation team and sits on the Scientific Board of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
