About

Mrs. Lindsay Hill is a Sports Podiatrist based in North-West with clinics in Lancashire, Cheshire, and Greater Manchester. She graduated in Podiatry from the University of Salford in 1998 and has worked for the NHS ever since. In 2003, she completed a Master's degree in Sports Injury and Therapy at Manchester Metropolitan University. Following this, she started her own private practice, Axis Podiatry, specializing in sports podiatry, biomechanics, and orthotic therapy. In 2013, she completed her doctorate research investigating foot orthoses for low back pain, and this work was published in a peer-reviewed journal. Mrs. Hill has worked with several league football clubs and super league rugby clubs. She was also employed by the FA as a podiatrist to the England women's football squads. As a runner herself, Mrs. Hill has a specialist interest in assessing and treating runners. She believes it is important to find the underlying cause of recurring injuries, not just the symptoms. She is also able to screen as a means of injury prevention and can advise if orthotic therapy is needed and which footwear might be best for the individual foot type.
