Mr Michael Dooley is a Consultant Gynaecologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. 

He is now Medical Director of The Poundbury Clinic which offers a Holistic Integrated approach to female health care.

He qualified from Imperial Hospital London and then did post graduate training in Ireland,Oxford and London. His post graduate thesis was on hormone measuremant and Pre Menstrual Syndrome. He also did research in the The Menopause and the change in hormones during exercise.

He has been actively involved with fertility care for over 30 years and helped establish The Lister Fertility Unit where he continues to satellite his patients providing a very personal care package.

Clinics are run in Dorchester,Dorset and London.

He is Past President of The Section of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The Royal Society of Medicine and Council Member and Treasurer of The College of Medicine

Mr Dooley has a special interest in gynaecological problems associated with sport. He was lead gynaecologist at The London 2012 Olympics, and was Director of Sports Medicine and Science for the British Equestrian Federation for 8 years. Dr Dooley is now part of an International Olympic Committee on exercise and pregnancy.

Mr Dooley also has a special interest in fertility, and he runs education programmes for health professionals and patients on reproductive health.

Mr Dooley is committed to providing individualised, patient-centred care with the most appropriate evidence-based conventional and complementary medicine.
