About

Mr Hussain Alnajjar is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist in London, UK with his NHS Practice based at the renowned University College London Hospital (UCLH). He also holds the post of Honorary Associate Professor at University College London (UCL). Mr Alnajjar began his career at the prestigious St Andrews University in Scotland with a degree in Medical Sciences before moving to London and qualifying with a medical degree from University College London (UCL) medical school. He received a distinction in his Master of Surgery degree from the University of Edinburgh and underwent an intensive rotational training programme across London hospitals, including the Royal Marsden Hospital. His higher surgical training covered all aspects of Urology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals. He completed his advanced fellowship in surgical Andrology and genito-urethral oncology at the leading specialist Andrology unit at University College London Hospitals.

Mr Alnajjar is a fellow at both The Royal College of Surgeons of England and the European Board of Urology. Throughout his career, he has won numerous awards for his outstanding clinical and academic work including a coveted award from The Royal Society of Medicine. He is actively involved in research and is highly published in high impact peer-reviewed journals. Mr Alnajjar regularly presents his work at national and international conferences in addition to being an invited speaker and chair at various courses and conferences. Mr Alnajjar has also chaired and organised a national Masterclass in Andrology at UCLH. He is a keen mentor and trainer and is a urology tutor for UCL medical school, he is also a tutor for the MCh (Urol) Master’s degree course for the andrology and penile cancer modules. He is also a faculty member and an examiner for the FRCS (Urol) revision course.

Mr Alnajjar enjoys music, playing musical instruments and travelling in his free time.
