Miss Fiona MacNeill has been a specialist consultant breast surgeon since 1996. 

Miss MacNeill qualified in 1983 from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and in 1994 she was awarded an MD degree investigating novel breast cancer therapies. In 1996 she was then appointed consultant surgeon at Colchester. After gaining several years experience she then went on to establish and led a highly successful breast unit before moving to The Royal Marsden in 2006.

Miss Macneill is qualified in all areas and her main interest is oncoplastic and breast reconstruction surgery. She also works with her plastic surgeons to offer innovative aesthetic surgery and reconstruction techniques to preserve the breast and to maintain the breast shape and body image after breast cancer surgery.

Miss Fiona Macneill likes to share her knowledge and experience and often participates in the training of the next generation of breast surgeons. She is currently President of the Association of Breast Surgery (2015-17) and speaks worldwide on breast cancer and oncoplastic surgery.
