Dr Mark Aitken is a qualified General Practitioner who has gained extensive experience in various medical fields, including emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, neonatology and general medicine. He graduated from University College Hospital London in 1999 with merit.

During his General Practice training, Dr Aitken worked in the UK, New Zealand and Australia, where he gained experience in diverse medical settings. After completing his training, he worked as an army doctor for two years, where he looked after soldiers and their families and gained experience in sports medicine and occupational health.

Dr Aitken obtained the MRCGP qualification in 2006 and subsequently worked as a General Practitioner in Western Australia for four years. During this time, he also worked as a part-time skin cancer physician after receiving a certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery from the University of Queensland.

Dr Aitken has also obtained a Masters in Human Molecular Genetics and has published two journal papers, highlighting his academic prowess and interest in research.

Dr Aitken joined Roodlane in April 2011, where he continues to provide high-quality medical care to patients.
