Dr. Kate Stringaris, an accomplished Consultant Haematologist and Clinician Scientist, specializes in treating blood disorders through chemotherapy, cellular therapies, and stem cell transplantation. She earned her primary medical degree from University College London, followed by general medical training at St George's Hospital. Dr. Stringaris completed her specialized haematology training at the Royal Free Hospital and Hammersmith Hospitals. Her journey includes obtaining a PhD in Leukaemia from Imperial College London and assuming the role of Senior Clinical Lecturer at St Bart's Hospital in London. Currently, she practices as a Consultant Haematologist at University College London Hospital.

Throughout her career, Dr. Stringaris conducted extensive research on immune defects in leukaemia and transplantation immunology. As a senior research physician at the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health in the USA, her work focused on stem cell therapies, natural killer cell immunity, and pioneering immune therapies for acute myeloid leukaemia.
