Julie Moore works with Dr. James Hull and they run a specialist clinic for the management of respiratory issues in athletes. She qualified with a BSc Hons degree in physiotherapy from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle upon Tyne in 1993. In 1999, she took on a consultant post at Kings College in London. She started a successful pulmonary rehabilitation program and developed one of the first community pulmonary rehabilitation services in the UK. In 2005, Julie completed her Masters in Physiotherapy and published research on exercising patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Julie is a committee member of the UK physiotherapy for breathing pattern disorders, a Buteyko practitioner, and a BradCliff breathing specialist. She lectures around the UK, helping physiotherapists develop their knowledge in the management of hyperventilation and disordered breathing patterns.
