About

Dr. Niall Power has spent over a decade working as a full-time consultant for the NHS after completing his initial training with Barts and the London NHS Trust. He later furthered his learning with a fellowship in Toronto, where he specialised in radiology of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis, particularly pertaining to gastrointestinal and gynaecological imaging.

Dr. Power is highly regarded within his field, having authored numerous research papers, review articles, and book chapters on various aspects of radiology. In addition to carrying out ultrasound studies and barium radiography examinations, he also reports on CT and MRI scans.

He is also an educational supervisor or clinical leader for the trust. Outside of work, Dr. Power enjoys spending quality time with his young family. He also enjoys supporting Manchester United football club or the Kilkenny hurling team and playing musical instruments.

It is important that HCA is transparent about our relationship with those doctors who provide us with clinical guidance on delivering the best possible care to patients and operating our hospitals safely and efficiently. We set out here some of the ways in which we work together and the amount we pay this doctor for such services.
