Dr Kalkani graduated from the University of Thessaloniki (Greece) with Doctorate of Dental Surgery, in 2007, and was subsequently obtained a Certificate in Paediatric Dentistry from Eastman Dental Institute while completing her MFDS at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Since then she has continued with her postgraduate education, acquiring her Diploma of Membership in Paediatric Dentistry (MPaed Dent) from Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England with the surgical colleges in Edinburgh and Glasgow in 2016. She was also awarded a Master’s Degree in Clinical Dentistry with Distinction by the University of Leeds.

She has published her research in international peer-reviewed journals and has lectured nationally and internationally on subjects related to Paediatric Dentistry.
