Dr Inyang Takon is a Consultant Paediatrician currently working at the private practices Pinehill Hospital in Hertfordshire, The Portland Hospital in London and Rivers Hospital in Hertfordshire. She also works with the NHS at Queen Elizabeth II hospital and Welwyn Garden City. Her areas of interest include ADHD, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Dr Takon graduated from University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria in 1988 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. She attained a master’s in Public Health in 2000 from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and in 2001 she completed a masters in Community Paediatrics at the University of London. Her many years of experience and education make her an expert in her field.

She holds the positions Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics, Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and Fellow of the West African College of Physicians. She is also active in research; she has published articles in Psychiatry Journals and Epilepsy Journals. She has also given talks on topics such as ADHD and Epilepsy.
