About

Dr Francis Matthey was appointed as consultant haematologist to the Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (East Surrey Hospital) in 1990. He trained in general medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and University College Hospital in London and then in haematology at the Royal Free Hospital and the Middlesex Hospital.

He moved to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in 2006 and is a member of the North West London Haemato-Oncology Tumour Working Group. He has close clinical links with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (Hammersmith Hospital). He has been a consultant in the NHS for 30 years.
